We don't talk college football much here, and Big 12 football not at all, but my midwestern roots are getting more and more excited by the prospect of either Kansas (my mom's alma mater) or Mizzou (the school I grew up rooting for) getting to the national title game, both having arguably their best seasons ever at the same time. Per ESPN:
Kansas and Missouri meet Saturday in Kansas City for the 116th time, and never has it been more important. The winner goes to the Big 12 title game with national championship hopes in tact*.
*I didn't know that 'tact' was something you could hope for a national championship in, but I'm all for it.
