don't worry, Mr Stipe, we'd rather not.

Nevertheless, a sledgehammer for me: First time I heard it, it was June 1995 and I'd just met the most beautiful man I'd ever met, and we ended up skinny dipping at Lake Winnepesaukee with about 20 of his friends.  Ah, memories ...

"BUT NOT A REAL GREEN DRESS, THAT'S CRUEL!"

One of the greatest lines EVER.  Hundreds of listens later, I still laugh out loud.

wow, the Shoes record (12-string guitar) followed by Tom Petty and then "Starry Eyes" by the Records! It's a 1979 12-string festival!  All we need now is Bram Tchaikovsky...

we also got the Cure's "Jumping Someone Else's Train", and F.Mac's "Storms"  -- 2 more I've never heard on KFOG.  A fine set indeed.

Paul Carrack's "Don't Shed a Tear" isn't sounding half-bad.  I never noticed how Squeeze-like the lyrics to the verses are.
