Wed 6/29: arrived late (thanks, BART!) for the tail end of a 1975 set. "Bad Sneakers" and a Pina Colada on "Thunder Road"...

[sarcasm]
I'm sure service would improve if those poor underpaid BART employees could get a raise.

"I Don't Like Mondays" on a Thursday doesn't quite fit right.  But my oh my, how quickly this year has gone by.

1990 BOS to Neil Young's "Mansion on the Hill," which I'd never heard til now.

As an unrelated aside, can anyone explain to me why "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" was left off Decade?

The Peak goes back further than I've ever heard them go -- and uses the lovely "Hypnotized" as the TOTHC!  Nice start.  (I'll be listening but not posting the rest of the morning -- still transcribing.)

OK, popping back in to give a BOS to Georgie's "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)."  While I don't hear the relationship between "My Sweet Lord" and "He's So Fine," I do hear a relationship between this and Dylan's "I Want You."

Wow, this IS the furthest back they've ever gone. Got here in time for "Money" by PF and at first assumed it was a Live 8 -themed set.

BTW, sing the phrases out loud: "My Sweet Lord".... "He's So Fine"... they're the same bloody notes.  Not that it means George stole 'em necessarily, but I can understand the urge to sue.

ooo! BOS Raspberries, "Tonight".  How did this one manage not to be a hit?

ETA: "a band that's just gotten back together"? Does Rob know something we don't?

Great back-to-back, with Annie Lennox's "Why" followed by Black Crowes' "Remedy."  Best Of Artist candidate for each.

There Are No Coincidences: I just pulled out the Gordon CD earlier this week to listen to "If I Had $1000000" and "Brian Wilson."  Great, underrated album.
