oops, my bad, it was '82 -- Bob does the opposite of Dave and uses the album release date. "Allentown" was a charted single in early '83.

I'm going to have to figure out a way to listen to this guy, that is a GREAT song and really representative of the New Wave as I experienced it.  And you mentioned he played "Rat In Mi Kitchen" which is such an excellent song (did you know that those horns are the work of none other than Herb Alpert?).

Mike (or anyone else for that matter), have you heard Peter Godwin's other new wave hit "Baby's In The Mountains"?

Indeed! it was a local fave on suburban NYC's alternative WLIR/WDRE ("the station that dares to be different").  Wouldn't surprise me if it showed up on The Peak eventually.

"Lotta Love". Not to be confused with Lotta Fagina

David Duchovny is working on a movie called Bucky Fucking Dent, about a guy and his dad who bond over baseball. Look for a title change

that's his current movie, House of D -- the one with Robin Williams as a retarded janitor. Avoid!

OMGWTFLOL! He actually played solo David Johanssen, "Funky But Chic". Yet another album Dave's never dropped the needle on. And Meat Loaf too!

Best '78 set ever?
