Gaz is en route, so I guess it's just me & the Peak...

The Howling! LOL! "an experience too terrifying for words!" Well, that means '81 and right on cue here's the Police.

Squeeze, "Is That Love?", which interestingly, I heard on the Peak the one time I listened outside of 10@10.

it's 1986 (I think) on The Peak -- Gabriel, "Big Time".

I'm working half a day because my cold has taken a turn towards bronchitis. And I'll miss Dave's set (Taxes or not) because of a stupid meeting.  I'm gonna miss the A's game tonite too, dammit!

our third 1986 set of the week gives us our 2nd appearnce of Blue Velvet.  Methinks Rob Arrow listens to Dave on the 'net.

BOS3: Hannah and her Sisters montage.

"I don't know if you remember me, but we had the worst night of my life together..."

Having just seen the not-quite awful Melinda & Melinda, this was especially sweet.

OMG! Ms Lauper, "True Colors"!!

well, again the Peak comes up with the best '86 set I've heard in ages. Has Dave ever played BOC, "Dancing in the Ruins"?

At some point we may want to set up a new forum category for the Peak@10, I dunno ... but at any rate, today's visit to 1991 features "Teen Spirit."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

1991 BOS to "The Obvious Child," if only for that great drum break.

joining in just in time for Joe Walsh "Ordinary Average Guy" which I remember hearing on my drive across America that June but don't think I've ever heard on SF radio.

Uh-Oh -- JT. He had an album that year?

wow, tuned in for the tail end of an '83 set -- BJ, "Allentown", my fave from that LP and another one Dave's never played.
