Tomorrow (Friday the 22nd), late morning, I will be picking Gaz up & transporting him to our mutual friend's house where he will be housesitting for the duration.  We will then have lunch somewhere in the general downtown area.  If anyone else is down there (Urth?) or can get down there, you're welcome to join us.  I'm buying.

We'll be hanging out for as much of the afternoon as I can afford, but I have to be home by dinner time as it's my son's b-day.

IF they let us leave work as early as noon (as has been the case pre-holidays this year), I will call Gaz and see where y'all are heading.

If it had been today I could probably have pulled it off as I was working downtown today, but my holiday starts tomorrow and I have a bunch of Xmas stuff to get done during the day, so t'ain't likely for me. If that should change I'll call either Mark or Joe--I have both of your numbers.

I'm still game for Amoeba next Tuesday, say around 11 or 11:30?
Let's get right to it.

Last night, Martha and I were downtown celebrating our anniversary, and stopped at Whole Foods on our way home to look for some yeast, and browse.  When we came out, the window on our passenger side was totally smashed in.  Apparently the stuff I keep in the car is so boring, almost nothing was taken (a few pairs of new socks we jus bought).  So, my schedule is now somewhat uncertain, depending on how quickly I can find a place to replace the window.

Damn, that sucks, man. What time was this?  Not exactly the dead-of-night when no one's around, I'm guessing.  And all for a couple pairs of socks? Jeez...

Yeah, around 8:30.  Made the mistake of parking behind a dumpster, providing some kind of cover, but still, pretty odd. I thought they'd taken my raincoat too, but noticed it was draped over a fire hydrant.  I guess they had no use for a humongoid coat!

That's awaful. Don't let it dampen your holiday spirit. The scum who did that will always be scum and if not scum, they are sad and desperate.

Damn, that sucks. Hope you can arrange to get that fixed sometime today or tomorrow, although with the holiday approaching I don't expect it will be easy.

Geoff,  Mark, Gaz and myself will be at Popolo -- Kearny & Bush, starting at around 1:00 today for lunch.  If you (and anyone else) see this and can get there, you're more than welcome!
