Palin tries to defend qualifications in interview

Among other things, she says she's qualified on foreign policy because Alaska is next to Russia.  "They're our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

Yes, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler opened SNL tonite as Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton.  I'm sure it's on YouTube if you missed it.  Just wonderful.

Heard some GREAT Obama ads slamming McCain on KBCO in the last hour.  We don't hear a lot of ads here in Cali since both parties consider us solidly "blue", but they are running.
