And, you can't make this stuff up, "Captain Jack Hiscock said the team would appeal the suspension to the school president."

Giants reinstate Pat the Pat from DL... and -- wow -- Aaron Rowand, Miguel Tejada both designated for assignment.

ETA: posted in a thread on SFGate:

A batter in a smokey funk
Can't hit the heat, can't hit the junk
For a smile they can share the pine
It goes on and on and on and on

Don't stop bereavin'
Hold on, we're feelin'
Streetlights people

Indeed! I was afraid the Cubs were going to sweep. Now if the Giants could just sweep the D-Bags...

Easily one of the more bizarre/questionable lists in this series (which is saying something) - but here's Bleacher Report's "Most Boring Athletes":

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/838878-the-50-most-boring-athletes

I can't tell what their criteria is; I'd put Sidney Crosby in the Top 5, for example. The guy is dull, dull, DULL.

But... I mean, I *hate* Curt Schilling, but his right-wing nonsense alone makes him the opposite of "boring". And I guess being rumored to be gay (as several guys here are) isn't considered interesting any more?

I don't know how I missed this, but suddenly the G's have a better chance of catching Atlanta than Arizona.

Stumbled upon the Sharks tix "pre-sale" (they go on sale to the gen' public tomo'w) thanks to FB. Am i crazy or did prices go up significantly?  71 bucks (*before* Tickebastard charges!) for nosebleed section?  So far just 2 games for me; I usually do 4 or 5.

I can do better for you. Tell me what games you want. Guy in front of me gave me a list of games he is selling. He might sell a single. Price I think is $75 or 79 for 117. Oh oh. My friend in 204 just dumped hubby and has two seats to every game. She will totally sell a single. Pretty sure it is 204, row 7. $50 I think.
Sharks bleed teal.

It Ain't Over Til It's Over, but it's looking pretty bad right now for the Giants, 6-2 Az in the 6th. Thanks for the great ride anyway!
