This pretty well sums up the current public discourse about science-related issues:

Don't stand in the way of LOVE!

I wonder what the rejoinder to this is from the intwat that writes "Mallard Fillmore."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

I'm not sure either, but I don't think it's a compliment!

A cool bastardization of "nitwit"?

Draw your own conclusions:

(Watch past the first 30 seconds or so--the lighting does get better.)
Let's get right to it.

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

This needs to be viewed as a double-feature with the Star Wars Christmas Special ("What do you get a Wookiee for Christmas / When he already owns a comb?").

While we're talking comic book movies- check out the first attempt to do a live-action Fantastic Four.

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0109770/

I'll see if I can find a better link. I've never seen it- but I hear it's baaad. And not in the good way.

ETA: Hee-hee! Check it out:

Beej, this weeks Little Steven show (available on his website) was a salute to all things "Batman" and featured clips from the album they made back then where everyone SINGS (Frank Gorshin, Burgess Meredith et al) HIGH-larious.

And FYI your hero Bruce Campbell was at the Balboa last nite screening his new flick The Man With the Screaming Brain (great title) and plugging his new book Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way! (even better title).
