Catchers generally are my-T-fine. And generally my "type". Varitek, Piazza, Kendall, Pyrszynski (sp?) Einar Diaz... stop me!

Geena Davis.

Yeah, that stopped me...  just the opposite of straight guys who think about baseball players to prolong, y'know.

Ahhh The Game. Let's talk about Mike Matheny. mmm mmmm mmmm
Might have to go see the boys play tonight.
Ali!  Now you're acting like Gaz and Mike!

Good taste, at that!  Matheny's an obsession, he's my obsession.  A bit serious-minded, but hey.

Couldn't help myself. Went to game and it didn't disappoint. Mike Matheny made it to third and I was soooo close. I hollered my "encouragement." Seats were four rows from field a bit past third. Bob refused to whistle at him for me

Well, Assmussen jumps on our Phil's Hair Train while Jon Carroll starts casting the Ayala Chili Finger movie...

http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/05/27/DDGM7C8F8S1.DTL

I like Jon Carroll and all- but I'm not sure he's got the right people in mind for his movie. And he's completely overlooked the important question that I want answered: why is that dude's nickname "Fudge"?

So I'm at work now, proofreading the Theater listings.  The local Theater of the Blind is staging a production of "Oedipus."  And the woman who previewed it wrote: "We hope that the famous denouement, in which Oedipus robs himself of sight, won't be too anticlimactic."

Y'all have no idea how hard I'm laughing right now.  Straight to hell I go, I go!

Well, you gotta figure they picked "Oedipus" for a reason...

Here in SF we've got a lesbian version of "Othello".  NOT starring Joan Armitrading, unfortunately.
