MJ alert: at 3:00 Judge will be saluting the LP that was #1 this week in 1980 - Off The Wall.  "You know, the Force... it's got a lot of power... it make me feel like... it make me feel like... WHHOOOOOO!!!"

Judge started playing "Rappers Delight"  -- I got up, went down the street to buy juice, came back, and it was still playing. The looooooooooooooooooooong version indeed.

the little-heard "Girlfriend" followed by "She's Out of My Life". He's playing this off extra-crunchy vinyl, BTW.

"damned indecision! and cursed pride!"

"Burn This Disco Out" -- another track you never hear.  This has been a delight.

New to me: Modern Romance, "Ay ay ay ay Moosey" (wha?). Their "Best Years of Our Lives" is one of my fave forgotten shoulda-been hits -- was glad to see it revived in Shrek 2.

and the New Wave juggernaut continues: HL, "Don't You want Me?" and Haircut 100, "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)". Followed by the Pretenders "I Go To Sleep", not much of a radio fave in the US but a Top Ten single in the UK.

Yikes! Lady Cliff's snoozy cover of "Daddy's Home" makes the Jermaine Jackson version sound like the Sex Pistols.
