Judge kicks off his show in a direction I don't think I've heard him take before: Kraftwerk, Trans Europe Express.

Although I think I've figured out that there's no predicting what he's going to program next.
Let's get right to it.

of course, Kraftwerk had a surprisingly large black following back in the day,  and have been sampled by many rappers, not to mention imitated by the likes of Soul Sonic Force.

Did not realize that, but I'm not surprised.

Now venturing into more predictable (but no less funky territory): Parliament/Funkadelic, Aqua Boogie.
Let's get right to it.

Mercury in retrograde?

I couldn't post, but was listening on the radio, and in the car, wondering what you guys would say about the 1984 set on KFOG: Dwight Twilley, Eurythmics (not the normal) Pretenders, Huey, Billy Idol (BOS went to Flesh for Fantasy)Tracy Ullman, etc.  So, I get to office, try to turn on KRSH stream, and 'error!'  Then I log in to find y'all couldn't get KFOG, so here I am listening to Deep Tracks!

Seger "Famous Final Scene," Alice Cooper "Under My Wheels", Chicago "I'm a Man"

Wow, Dave hasn't played Tracey in awhile.  TANC: I caught the "Flesh For Fantasy" video the other nite on VH-1 Classic.

on Deep Tracks.  Did this get renamed on Animals?  Live at the Cow Palace, the guitar solo was the most glorious 4-channel grand Gilmour!

ETA:  Yeah, it's called "Dogs"

When they first played it live, it had a different name, and slightly different lyrics (Sheep was called "Raving and Drooling") and they gave out a comic book with lyrics too!
