WLNG NUgget o'the Day: Cilla Black, "You're My World". Spectacular.

Helen Reddy's cover a decade late was a knockout in its own right.

Oh my yes -- one of her finest hours, IMHO. And produced by, of all people, Kim Fowley.  He did the whole LP Ear Candy, iirc.

Nice: RJ's "Give It to Me, Baby," which Superbooty used to really rock out on live.  Are they still performing?  I saw them about 10 times in SF.

Ride "The Horse" with Cliff Nobles & Co.!  Like "Time Is Tight", one endless vamp, pretty much, but a delightful one.

I could definitely get used to this.  I wonder what time my lunch will be at my new school job in the fall?

They played Jerry Butler last time, too.  Can't find the post I made, but then it went into Brenton Wood, I remember that.

Ow! "Let's Straighten it Out" -- Lattimore.  This is truly fabulous. Not your typical Moreyesque just-play-the-hits Soul Patrol.
