TANC?

Today's 10@10 is 1983, and on one of KQED's subchannels I see a promo spot for Nova,
the music for which is an acoustic version of "She Blinded Me With Science."  Nice.  Anybody
know who this is?

OK, so why did I JUST 5 MINUTES AGO hear a "Fresh & Easy" commercial on KFOG, if they're closing all their stores?  WTFF?

possibly, but this shut-down has been in the works for nearly a year and this was the first Fresh & Easy radio ad I've ever heard. Odd.

ok, I just heard a commercial, too.  It was hilarious: the jingle talks about getting your food "The F and Easy way."

Sing that out loud and you get "the effin' easy way."

brilliant, that!

heh... I'd like to see a timeline of how the language in pop culture or advertising has proceeded over the years to include words that would undoubtedly have shocked our elders, who in turn would have shocked THEIR elders, etc.

dang > damn > bitch > balls > effin'  etc.

I keep hearing the radio spots for TMZ.  Their slogan: "Hollywood is a circus. We're the ringleader".  Uh, I think you mean "ringMASTER", no? They're 2 different words, idiots.

There's talk of trying to sell it, but I don't think they'll be able to.  Fresh & Easy = neither fresh nor easy.
