The best part of this story about a GOP-appointed judge in SB county and her various indiscretions is the fact that there's a lesbian whose last name is Dykeman...

Colbert is pretty cool, but still nowhere near Stewart.  Some nights he's brilliant, but some nights he just grates on me.


The Daily Show has taken some lumps lately (deservedly, I think) for being so white and male -- they lost Carell, Colbert, Corddry and Helms in short order and replaced them with... more white guys (one of whom I think is married to Samantha Bee), except for Asav Mandhi (sp?).  I mean, Rob Riggle? Are there no funny black/hispanic comedy writers?  The show's still funny, sometimes brilliantly so, but the issue is there.

Colbert, on the other hand, by virtue of the character he's playing, doesn't have to have anybody else on the show and thus avoids the issue.
