From "Higher" to "Fire" certainly does make for "Hot Fun," dunnit?  Thinking 9-way-tie territory.

PS: I've never heard the Shirelles' version of "Do Wah Diddy," and I don't want to; I just think it's dippy songwriting from people who knew better.

Hmm, I don't hear Allman Brothers at all in this.  Definitely a fair amount of Byrds (Eight Miles High) in the geetar solo, but that's going the wrong direction.
