ooo! BOS Mr Loaf, "2 out of 3", a song Dave has avoided playing for some reason.

up early finishing a lesson plan for my last bit of SFSU work, so I thought I'd tune in.  Nice start with Shelter from the Storm.  Not sure of next song, is it Dwight Twilley "I'm on Fire?"

Jeff Beck, Since We Ended as Lovers
« Reply #172 on: May 31, 2005, 07:29:14 AM »
I believe this is it.  Supposedly written for Beck by Stevie Wonder, who was supposed to have given Superstition to Beck (it was on Beck, Bogert, and Appice) but used it himself.

just tuned in -- the Peak going all the way back to '75 is a rarity. "Squeeze Box", one of the Who's most unfairly maligned tunes. judging by your running tally, Geoff, this has been a fine set.

1985

just passing through.  The stream is really bad, lots of odd sound artifacts.  First some hopelessly 1985 kind of track I'm sure someone else could identify (that Anglophillic thing again) then a somewhat refreshing "Rock and Roll Girls" by John Fogerty.

One of my all time favorite songs.  Actually, the song is a cover of a tune Stevie wrote for (I'm going to get this wrong) Syreeta.  Or someone like that.  It actually has words, or so I understand.  Never have heard it.

Here's a link, includes clip:

And, BTW, it's "Cause" not "Since."
