Hour 2: Real Life's "Send Me an Angel on it's first chart go-'round. BOS4.

BOS5 Duran2 "New Moon on Monday"; BOS6 H&O, sayin' it ain't so. That bites it even more!

WOS2 "Curly Shuffle".

VHM Deborah Allen's sweet "Baby I Lied".

the Durannies return, making a union with their snakes. er, what?  BOS7.

Damn, this is an entertaining chart today. Unexpected BOS8: Macca's forgotten "So Bad" -- so good!

Hour 3: Chrissie leaves her pants behind her. Now they're wrapped around Sting's finger.

Nena auf Deutsch. Danke!

WOS3 ONJ's "Twist of Fate"

uber-uber-BOS8 BJ's "An Innocent Man"

VHM Ray "the Plagiarist" Parker, skillfully ripping off "Every Breath You Take" with "I Still Can't Get Over Lovin' You"

This week, That '70s Casey visits Feb 9th 1974:

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/02-09-74.pdf

and Casey's '80s is from Feb 13th 1988:

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/02-13-88.pdf

Both pretty swell charts with great rarities.

VHM the Jets, "Rocket 2 U"

WOS1 Stryper, "Honestly", maybe one of the worst power ballads I've ever heard. Honestly!

And OMFG it's followed by Michael Bolton's abysmal and unnecessary cover of "Dock of the Bay" -- uber-WOS2

WOS Hall of Fame: Richard Marx, the blandest, most generic singer ever to have 14 Top 40 hits.

Never heard the "Push it"-was-orig-a-B-Side story before.

BOS1 Prince; BOS2 "Pop Goes the World"; BOS3 Cher, "Ah Fayound Sohmwhon"

M/A/R/R/S gets a B/O/S/4.

VHM "Tangerine".

Ray Sawyer: most convincing pedophile EVAH. She was only 16. And he was 47.

oy vey: "Dream On" back-to-back with "Bohemian Rhapsody" -- time for a VERY long bathroom break.

"Yeah... she's at home..." Poor lonely Barry lets the music play. VHM.

Larry Groce whips out his Twinkie.

Ms Ronstadt's gorgeous, countrified cover of "Tracks of My Tears" is easily the highlight for me so far. BOS1.

Oy: WOS Cledus Maggard.

Bowie insults Italians "wop! wop! wop!"

BOS2 BeeGees: "Love, be tender with my fanny"

2 BOSes right off the bat: SlyFox goes all the way; ABC want to be millionaires.

and Ree-Ree gets a VHM for "Another Night"

...and the rest of the hour is rather meh. But unexpected AT40 Extra: the DiVinyls' "Pleasure and Pain" which charted in '86 -- 5 years before "I Touch Myself".  Has this ever appeared in an '86 10@10?

Hour 2: VHM EJ's "Nikita"; BOS3FRA Jellybean's "Sidewalk Talk" -- does Kiss-FM have this on their playlist? They should.

It occurs to me that any of the Hooters' hits could be easily covered by any of the current mandolin-and-banjo bands. VHM "Day By Day"

unexpected VHM Freddie Jackson, getting uncharacteristically funky on "He'll Never Love You Like I Do"

RFTW have a "Digital Display", but they still want to play with your knobs, baby.

BOS4 A-ha's unjustly overlooked "The Sun Always Shines on TV"

WOS the Goat; BOS5 Baltimora.

Sadly, I have to exit so I'll miss Shiels E's "Love Bizarre"; OTOH I'll also miss "Spies Like Us" and Starship's "Sara".

This week, That '70s Casey is back to giving stations a choice of years: Feb 19th 1972 or Feb 26th 1977.

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/02-19-72.pdf

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/02-26-77.pdf

I'd much prefer the '72 show but we'll see.

Casey's '80s visits Feb 26th 1983:

sadly, no '72 choice today, but '77 is enjoyable so far. ONJ's "Sam" is the quintessential forgotten hit.

VHM Elvis' "Moody Blue" despite a sometimes sloppy vocal.

BOS1 EJ's "Bite Your Lip"

VHM George, "Crackerbox Palace"

Tom Jones goes country -- and gets BOS2.

Hour 2: Macca's "Amazed".

As noted last month, Smokie's "Living Next Door to Alice" is very Dr Hook-y. Ditto Stephen Bishop saviin' it for a Chaka bray.

Rich girls is a bitch, gurlz.

please post that link when you get a chance, I'm always looking for other AT40 options.

BTW, there's a new person on the AT40 Message Board whose handle is "hairyschmillson". Heh.

Here's a link that's playing the '72 playlist right now:

http://www.oldies1150.com/

I'll look for that London link...

Here it is: http://tunein.com/program/?ProgramId=117092&StationId=154341

I think you have to download the stream to listen.
