Dave must have a whole album full of artists doing coke ads. The Vanilla Fudge one is nearing katrina status.

BOS2 (or is it 3?) You Won't See Me
Let's get right to it.

Ooh!  "You Won't See Me" is a fine choice to close down this show.  One of the first Beatle songs I remember hearing, along with "I'm Looking Through You," on the old cartoon.

Worth seeking out Anne Murray's saloon-worthy cover of it.
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

One of Lennon/McCartney's most catchy melodies. This is my fave period in Beatledom (Rubber Soul/Revolver).

And it sounds lovely, if only because we've never (or not for many many years) heard it in the context of 10@10.
Let's get right to it.

I just don't think it ranks up with the others, that's all.  Kinda dated and hokey.  Of course, you young'uns might feel the same about the rest of the set too!

And including the promo for the 10@10 bonus cut, it indeed is.

Well, this was most assuredly not a "good news week."  At least I can chill to the Soul Spectrum for the next few hours, barring more workplace hassles.
