**Thursday (March 15): tonight's connection is BLACK

Wow, seems like a lot of potential here

Just from my iPod songs beginning with "Black," I found four songs I want to request.
Slipping into something
And out of something else

**Friday (March 16): tonight's connection is WHITE
Suggest your favorite white-related song; you could win tickets for Death Cab for Cuite at the Fox in Oakland on May 10th.

"Remember what the dormouse said . . ."

Recent KFOG Connected Playlists

March 15: Black
"Paint It Black," The Rolling Stones
"Holdin' on to Black Metal," My Morning Jacket

**Monday (March 19): tonight's connection is ONLY
Suggest your favorite only-related song; you could win tickets for Matt Nathanson at the Warfield in SF on April 4th.

Dred reportedly said, "It's like I told you. Only the Lonely can play." Which is just as well for the non-lonely, considering the prize.

"White Rabbit," Jefferson Airplane
"White Girl," X
"White Lines," Grandmaster Flash
"White Punks on Dope," The Tubes

I requested New Thing by Enuff Z'nuff and New Age by The Velvet Underground.

**Wednesday (March 21): tonight's connection is PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Suggest your favorite public transportation-related song; you could win tickets for Matt Nathanson at the Warfield in SF on April 4th.

I requested The Replacements' Skyway, despite its namesake possibly not being a public transportation system. Urth requested one of the best pop songs ever, Bus Stop, and Wayback went with the original Jet Airliner.

Full list here. Looks like trains take precedence over busses. Sweet set in any case.

March 21: Public Transit
"Don't Sleep in the Subway," Petula Clark
"The Metro," Berlin
"Down in the Tube Station at Midnight," the Jam
"Magic Bus" (live), the Who
Let's get right to it.

Where The Boys Go by the Rolling Stones.  Kind of a throwaway song, but fun.
One Of The Boys by Mott the Hoople.   Typical Mott = awesome

ooh, and this!  Happy Boys Happy by the Small Faces

I like Connected when I get a chance to listen.  I keep expecting to hear news clips and commercials in the mix, too. But that is 10@10 territory, bro!

I'm guessing "Boys & Girls" by Blur will make the cut.  I'd prefer "Jet Boy Jet Girl" by Elton Motello.

"Smalltown Boy" -- Bronski Beat. Nice.

"Pretty Boys" -- Joe Jackson. Even better. I can't remember the last time I heard this song on the radio.

"Mannish Boy" -- a tad obvious.

"Boys Keep Swinging" -- Bowie. Life is a pop of a cherry, indeed.

The Matt Natahanson show is sold out. That's a lotta soccer moms.
