**Monday (March 26): tonight's connection is ON THE RUN
Suggest your favorite run-related song; you could win tickets for Train at Slim's in SF on April 11th.

The Fog has been on quite a roll with these prizes.

**Thursday (March 29): tonight's connection is ANYTHING & EVERYTHING
Suggest your favorite anything- or everything-reated song; you could win tickets for Train's sold-out show at the Great American Music Hall in SF on April 11th.

I'll probably request an obscure one from Teenage Fanclub's first album called Everything Flows.

*LOVE* that Voice of the Beehive song. That LP ("Don't call me Baby" is also on it) is wonderful and deserved a better fate Stateside.

March 29: Anything & Everything
"Anything That's Rock 'n' Roll," Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
"Do Anything You Wanna Do," Eddie & the Hot Rods
"Everything Merges with the Night," Brian Eno
"Everyone's Gone to the Movies," Steely Dan

Hmm, I haven't heard any of those songs, but I kind of want to recreate the playlist via YouTube.

ETA: I had heard the Eddie & the Hot Rods song before, either on 10@10 or more likely on YouTube after seeing a request for it on the 10@10 FB page.

I've requested the Eddie/Hot Rods tune from AL several times; she hasn't played it but did post a YouTube clip on FB.  The Dan tune is one of the catchiest songs ever written about a pedophile.

I listened to the songs, and they are great. Petty's is from his first album and is straight-up, Raspberries power pop. The Eno is from one of his most acclaimed albums, Another Green World, and is one of more traditionally structured, less purely ambient of the tracks.

**Friday (March 30): tonight's connection is STAND
Suggest your favorite stand-reated song; you could win tickets for Train's sold-out show at the Great American Music Hall in SF on April 11th.

He could probably do four songs simply titled Stand; REM and Sly come to mind immediately.

ETA: Rascal Flatts and Lenny Kravitz (OK, quality is an issue here, but I'm just pointing out it's possible)

Stone Roses alert on Connected!  The Topic was Water and he played a "Waterfall" song, ur..... I forget the title.  "My Waterfall Wears a Floppy Fishing Hat," maybe?  :)

He also played some Mothers of Invention cut from We're Only In It For The Money!

...plus  PJ Harvey's Water  and Elton John's Madman Across the Water

Yeah, I requested the Stone Roses track, and we won the tickets. The song is simply called "Waterfall." Also, the PJ Harvey is called "Down by the Water." Good set overall, for sure, but the show rarely disappoints.
