Don't expect to see young Mr Linseed-cum in tonite's All-Star Game -- he's in the hospital with flu-like symptoms:

Poor kid. Missed a whopper of a game. Bottom of the 15th and honors go to the AL.

I got out of work early - 1:10 or so - and was shocked to see that the game was still going on (top of 14th when I left).  I'm more sorry to have missed the home run derby, which some Boston friends and I used to make a drinking game of.

we got some killer FC seats for today's game kicked down to us, hoping for a good day from "The Freak," but alas, it was not to be.

I was there yesterday. Not the game I hoped for but sure had a fantastic time. Going back on Thursday for the day game.

Aurilia rocks the 9th! What a great at bat tonight. Omar is coming back to life too. Great to see. Most enthusiastic 3rd base coaching ever!

I'll take your word for it, but next time the Cardinals are in town, check out the 3rd base coaching of Jose Oquendo.

Would that be Wendell Kim who was with the Giants and then the Expo's? I was in Montreal years ago and the Giants were in town so I went to the game. Kim was coaching third and Andres Gallaraga was playing too. Fun time.

Stupendous win today. Kind of boring with a 0-0 game till almost the end but Cain pitched to please. A shut out and I think his second career complete game. I thought he was gonna get yanked in the 9th but he stayed in and got the win. Gorgeous day in SF. I didn't get enough game with the whole thing over in exactly 2 hours (WTH!?) so I'm going back to admire the pitching of Haren and Sanchez tomorrow. Go Giants!
