More info on the Giants' Jerry Day (Aug 9 vs Cubs): Jerry bobblehead, Bob Weir & Phil Lesh sing the national anthem, 7th Inning Stretch w/Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann as they lead more than 7,000 kazoo playing fans in “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” in an effort to set an official Guinness World Record for the world’s largest kazoo ensemble, other fun/surprises:

mentioned this on FB, but last nite on Fit-TV (a channel I didn't realize I had), I stumbled across a show that spent an hour showing Barry Zito's training regimen (it was apparently about 5 years old, as all the clips of him on the field had him in an A's uni). Stretching, yoga, his annual visit to the National Institute of Sports Medicine (or something)... Gaz, I wish you coulda seen it!

BTW, his old friend Eric Byrnes is quite a hoot on the MLB Network.  There's something very festive about him I like.

Last night at the Giants game, Pat Burrell comes up to bat and Cutie Pie plays. I confirmed via Renel that he chose that as his walk-up music.
The boy is CUTE but dang, HE picked that song!?
