listening to WLNG as I do, I've heard a LOT of campaign commercials the past few weeks for the primary yesterday; mainly spots for Chris Cox, a repug wanting to run for Congress from eastern LI. He was trumpeting himself as a 'true conservative', 'pro-life', blahblahblah... turns out he is the son of Tricia Nixon Cox and grandson of ol' Tricky Dick himself.  (He lost, BTW.) He also has a slutty-looking fiancee that he began dating when she was 17 and he was 28...

I don't think it's so scandalous for a 20-year-old to dress like a slut. But a 20-year-old who's engaged to a Congressional candidate is another matter. But that might say more about his judgment than hers.

Pretty f***in' disgusting.  Filibuster on DADT ending.  The news is starting to leak out that a handful of billionaires are funding all the crazy GOP candidates through the Citizens United hole in campaign financing.  The conservative super-PACs are outspending the liberal PAC's with an overwhelming ratio.
