A fine vintage indeed
Slipping into something
And out of something else

We'll see how long it is until SRW requests "Hey Jude".

ETA: ah, now I see that AL is going to see Wilco tonite, hence the early post.

god, what I wouldn't give to hear her play just the 1968 cuts from Nuggets and be done with it.  I'll probably not be around when this is on the air, so say hi to Hendrix, Janis, Otis, The Stones and Steppenwolf for me.

heheh.  "Tighten Up" is sadly, a bit too LN-ish for me at this point in history.

"Hold her Tight-en Up". VHM Johnny Nash.

Agreed, a 10at10 of nothing but Nuggets and another set of nothing but SoulTrain soul (with Don Cornelius audio clips in between songs) would be most welcome!

you KNOW Dave would've done a Don Cornelius 10@10. and it's possible from AL, unless she has that NY/Boston set lined up for Friday.

yea, very cool.  I've never seen the movie, though.  Is it worth the trouble?

next time we hit the late 90s, it'd be good to hear Duran Duran's Electric Barbarella.  It was a single in the US in 97, in the UK in 99.

this set has been a pleasant surprise so far...  I thought it was going to be a tired 103.7 Oldies fest.
