Are they skewing toward recent stuff?  If not, I'll put in a request for the Pointer Sisters' "Fairytale," just for variety.

Put on your overcoat -- It'll be a cold day in August if Dave plays that little gem.

The Wheel
sublime pedal steel from a guy who didn't think he was a very good player on that instrument.  We could probably do a 10@10 of songs he guested on w/pedal steel.

In that case you can tell me what the correct lyric is, this song has a big Mondegreen for me in it.

What did Lido's note say?

Lido be runnin'
Havin' great big fun un-
til he got the note.

Sayin' _______________(?)
"Music is the Earth, People are the Flowers, and I am the Hose."

--Carlos Santana, 2010

I'm afraid listening to crowd singalongs is not the best place to clearly hear the lyrics!

OK. Maybe it's not Weezer....

And Mshray:

Lido be runnin', havin' great big fun, until he got the note
Sayin' toe the line or blow, and that was all she wrote
He be makin' like a beeline, headin' for the borderline
Goin' for broke

Apologies for the off-topic post, but it's kinda big, at least for baseball fans.

Rafael Palmeiro, who got his 3000th hit about two weeks ago, tested positive for steroids, just hit the wires about 20 minutes ago:

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/baseball/mlb/08/01/steroids.suspension/

He shoulda stuck with the Viagra....
Let's get right to it.
