There's no other way ... to vote for this than BOS!

likes this. I'd have preferred "Bang", but I'll take what I can.

What movie was that?  Jeff Bridges and Mercedes Reuhl?

oh wait, it's 1991, so it must be The Fisher King

Despite the calls for no REM, I'm BOSing "Texarkana". Great song with Mike Mills vocals.

Which JJ and which U2?

Personally, I never get tired of either.

It never occurred to me how much this Warren Zevon song sounds like Bruce. I bet either Bruce produced it, or Bruce's producer produced it (but I don't know who that is). It's so much like "Dancing in the Dark"...

U2 "Achtung Baby" is the first commercial album I bought. Got it on cassette for my brother for Christmas. We ended up spending that summer sitting in the back of our pickup truck in an orchard and watching the irrigation water go by.

Late at night, KDJK had the Rockline and Metal Shop programs. Really liked those.

The LP, Mr Bad Example (I was thisclose to requesting the title track) was on the short-lived Giant Records -- WZ had been dropped by Virgin after 2 albums. Not a bad LP.
