Beat me by seconds.

Here's what I posted in my shortlived topic:

Skippy Handleman leading the orchestra--a dead giveaway.

No birthday club today? Or did I space?

At least this means we won't get 1984 tomorrow.  Maybe a theme set? Haven't had one since pride, have we?

Think it was a different Kenny Loggins song--Celebrate Me Home maybe?
Let's get right to it.

Speaking of Footloose, here's my contribution to this week's Voice:

Loggins & Messina
PNC Bank Arts Center
Exit 116 Garden State Pkwy, Holmdel, NJ
Exit 116

Arts, Rock/Pop/Etc., By Day, Where to Hear

When schlockmeister Kenny Loggins ended one relationship last year (his marriage), he healed another, reuniting with old collaborator Jim Messina. Still, their mama don’t dance, they’re in the aim of those angry eyes, and we have no idea what “Vahevala” means. But you’ll be spared Loggins’s ’80s soundtrack smashes; this is all ’70s denim-washed soft-rock.

VVHM to Broooce, "Trapped."  Gonna be hard to top this.  Was it the B-side of one of the "Born in the USA" singles?

LOL!

At least "I'm All Right" has a dancing gopher puppet to go along with it- which is more entertaining than a dancing Bacon. At least to me.

BOS for me -- it's from "USA for Africa" isn't it? which puts it in the wrong year unless it was a B-side.

wrong year, never a B-side:

per AMG: Similarly, Bruce Springsteen's moody, atmospheric cover of Jimmy Cliff's "Trapped" is available only on this collection.
