Wierd email from Amazon recommendations today -- either Santana is recreating Johnny Winters "Second Winter" and bundling it with a recreation of a Winter's live album, or somebody spilled a coke on one of Amazon's servers.  I doubt this will paste very well...

well, at least they both played guitar in the same decade. I always get those "because you like (a) we recommend (b)" that make no sense.  "Hey, you bought Dusty Springfield -- here's Kraftwerk!"

Yeah, but it's hard to tell from what I posted, but they're actually saying that Second Winter is *BY* Santana.  (Follow the link).

Zappa is the most obvious to me, but I'm also getting Bowie (hair from Aladdin Sane), Gene Simmons (eye makeup), and John Lennon (glasses). And is the red leather jacket Michael Jackson?
The chest/necklace is Jim Morrison.  Yellow jacket is Freddie Mercury.
The earring looks too obvious, as if it's supposed to be one of the clues.  George Michael?
You may have something with the George Michael on the earring. And what's up with the red lens on the glasses. Joey Ramone?
That would be Bono.  Okay, we've got 9 of the 10.  Let's finish this off, we can do it!
was I right about Freddie Mercury?  There was a jacket like that in the Google Doodle.

Ah, nice work everyone.  :-} Yeah, Freddie. Perhaps I'll dig up all the images (god I love Google Image Search):

The chest/necklace is Jim Morrison.  I have no idea who the yellow jacket belongs to.  Devo?

My wife found another version last night that includes the very important (and hilarious) spoofs of Dido's "I Want to Thank You" into Shawn Colvin's "Sunny Came Home":

Maybe:

But if you're going to go with George Michael, why wouldn't you use the much more obvious:

Nice that it's getting some Morning Show love, but you miss a lot just hearing it. Half the fun of that video is watching the brunette's facial expressions. Also, love that they included both Breakfast at Tiffany's and Drops of Jupiter. Two of the worst songs of the last 15 years, easily.
Let's get right to it.

Indeed. We've liked their videos for a while now, and my wife said she could just imagine seeing their expressions when she heard them on the radio. Great to see it on the YouTubes, esp this version that more closely mirrors what they played on KFOG:

I dunno, color's right for Joey or Bono, but shape is off (although the glasses *beneath* John Lennon's might be Joey's. Bad Photoshop job!!):

Do you guys think the eye makeup on the left might be Alice Cooper?

Hrm, maybe not -- mascara should be dripping for it to be Alice.

Since it's a keyboard company, I was thinking Elton John, but I don't think a simple hoop is quite his style:
