BOS3 and proxy of Gaz, Turtles, "You Showed me", one of my requests -- didn't realize how well it would fit AL's "mellow" vibe today.

Excellent choice Mike--a strong overall BOS contender.
Let's get right to it.

I'll have to request the Lightning Seeds' version of this the next time 1997 rolls around.

the first Austin Powers sndtk is chock full o' goodness, that being one example.

"it's more than a camera, it's almost alive..."

er, what?

and as predicted, "Hot Fun..." Can't really complain, this has been fab so far. As long as we avoid the multiple requests for "Na Na Hey Hey"...

I never liked this one.  Both Doug's voice and the organ grate on my for some reason.

BOS6 Johnny & Bob -- and thank you AL for avoiding the way-overexposed "Lay Lady Lay" in favor of "Girl From the North Country"

What did they do to Bob's voice to make him sound like that?  There's something about this era of Bob that's just odd.  "Lay Lady Lay" has got it too.  Maybe some reverb where there was none before?

BOS and ntm.

Bob was fun last night at the Fox, though, seriously, I couldn't understand a single word he sang.  Hard to believe someone with as little voice as he had could lose it so completely.  Still, well worth it.

it's his "crooner" voice. I'm always amazed when people think it's odd. It's just a different shade of Bob.

OMFG! Christine Perfect & Co, "I'd Rather Go Blind" uber-BOS7 and proxy of Geoff, I'm sure.

ETA: Ms Perfect followed by the band she'd later join. Oh, well...

Whoa! I was just listening the Faces' version of this last week, but I've never heard this version. I thought FMac at first too, but realized she wasn't in the band in '69.

Oh Well....

ETA: Per AMG, I'd Rather Go Blind was credited to Chicken Shack.

Whoa, what happened to the end of that morphing into "Oh Well"?  Oh well.  I love this one anyway.

ETA: I think this counts as a trifecta "Oh Well" jinx!  Right arm!
