BOS for Petula going Down....town.  Inexplicably, my whole family watched "Finian's Rainbow" on DVD (no idea why we have that).  A very strange movie, but plenty of Petula Clark.  Easy on the eyes.  Much more so than a rather long in the tooth Fred Astaire.

Coppola directing a musical about Irishmen (in the South!) -- WTF?  A bomb at the time it was released, but it has its cult.

Another Beatles track?  I'll take it!  "I Saw Her Standing There" is my favorite early Beatles tune.  Paul is an animal on the bass in this one.  Playing Beatles Rock Band really makes me appreciate all that he was doing in these tunes.

Here's a tough Beatlemania trivia question with an improbable but cool answer:

Beatlemania crested in April of '64 when the Beatles held the top 5 spots on Billboard in the midst of having three consecutive #1 singles covering 14 charts from 2/1/64 until 5/2/64*.  What song knocked them out of the top spot on 5/9/64?

*yes, I do have my Whitburn in hand   :)
