A set I would almost dare her to do:

1. Dean Martin, "Everybody Loves Somebody"
2. Bobby Vinton, "There! I've Said It Again"
3. Louis Armstrong, "Hello, Dolly!"
4. Lorne Greene, "Ringo"
5. Nino Tempo & April Stevens, "Stardust"
6. Joey Powers, "Midnight Mary"
7. Danny Williams, "White on White"
8. Robert Goulet, "My Love, Forgive Me (Amore, Scusami)"
9. Gale Garnett, "We'll Sing in the Sunshine"
10. Frank Sinatra, "Softly, As I Leave You"

Crap, I am gonna be bummed to miss this one. Got an appointment in Portland shortly after 11, so looks like I'll miss this, at least on the first go-round. Crossing fingers I can catch the replay.

(Is this the oldest year for which AL has done an entire set? I know she went back to '60 for a VT or two. Props to her for keeping up the quality as much as she has as she nears her 1-year anniversary in the drivers' seat.)
Let's get right to it.

I haven't heard Pins-a in years.  Pretty Byrdsy.

Tomorrow's the day my old HS friend who wrote the Willie Mays biography is doing the booksigning at the Borders by AT&T park at 5:30.  Any of you city dwelling Giants fans interested in meeting up?  I won't be able to attend the game, but would show up if anyone else is interested.

(He's doing another on Sat in the East Bay, so I will certainly meet him there myself, but it wouldn't take much arm-twisting to get me to BART in on Friday)
