And we all know who was a member of the McCoys before striking out on his own a few years later? Hint: Think guitar gunslinger.

Mr. Zehringer, as Mike alluded.

What *is* that effect at the very top of "Stop!" - just an organ wavering into high notes?

Dingdingding!!!

I am pleased that you in fact *do* know who it was. We're doing our job around here, making sure the world is safe for obscure trivia.

BOS2&3, the Motown twin-spin, Stevie and the Supremes.
Let's get right to it.

I don't really consider that "obscure" -- used to be, everybody knew that fact.  I'm sure we've discussed it here, before.

BOS4 Animals, BOS5 early pre-pretentiousness Moodies.

I didn't know -- or maybe I forgot it -- so it was obscure for me.

Didja ever notice that the last "Now!" of "Go Now" fades out too soon?

BOS2 to the Beatles' (Yay) "Girl," which I used to not care for but now adore.  It was perfect as the opening to Across the Universe.

Haha!  BOS3 to "Flowers on the Wall."  And with that, I'm off to work.

That's what I assume they were going for.

Another BOS for the Statler Brothers, who probably didn't appear on the pop charts for any other song, if I'd have to guess.  A very Moreyesque set, and I mean that in a good way.
