whoa!   Tina gets my vote for most 80s pop sounding.  The percussion production on this is so shimmery and brittle.  that snare!

Entering what could be a very barren period on the charts, unless AL treads carefully. Safe to say we won't hear any Replacements or Husker Du.

Wondering what Radicaldigits is going to think of this set.

Now THESE drums and the synth bass line -- pretty dated!   See what happens when you don't use a real drummer, Glen?  I suppose Henley was snickering at this one.

Like Tina, GF has just one song in the DB, but his appears half a dozen times. And it wasn't this one. The Heat Is On was his only solo contribution.

Lovin' it so far (Except for tune #1).  VHM to Rod Stewart's only song I can tolerate & BOS to Culture Club.

And I'm going to break w/ everyone and give a huge, uber-BOS to Glenn Frey.

Didn't AL play Tina "Better Be Good To Me" in that 1984 set after "Legs" by ZZTop? Or was that a different Tina song?

BOS3 to Wang Chung.  Hits 106 used to play this as a recurrent/gold all the time... though it annoyed the hell out of me back then.
