BOS Smiths, of course. A big "feh" to "Radioactive". I'll be the judge of whether you're "not unattractive", dude.

Is "distractive" even a word?

Yes.

when I grabbed that photo of The Firm I looked up more info on Chris Slade.  Anyone have any idea who he started out playing drums for (when he was only 19)?  Hint: it was the Grammy winning Best New Artist of 1965.

Cool question, but I have no idea.  Petula Clark

ETA: I was pleased to see that Petula Clark WAS one of the nominees for 1965.

Manfred Mann? I'm pretty sure he played with MM at one point.
Let's get right to it.

did I ever tell the Hooter's anecdote about my wife?  In May of '07 we were down in Orange County for her younger sister's wedding, and the La Quinta we stayed at had a Hooters across the parking lot.  After several trips in and out of the parking lot my then 5-yr old asked what Hooters was & I explained that it was well-known for waitresses with large bosoms (actually used the Chinese slang word that they had picked up form their mom).  Gabriel thought about it for a moment and then turned to Christina and told her, "Well then you could work there mama, couldn't you?"

Yes, but only during the MM's Earth Band mid 70's Springsteen-covering heyday.
