Gaz & I went to see Richie Unterberger (an AMG critic among other things) do a presentation of rare clips from Woodstock & the Woodstock era, and probably the highlight of the whole show was a medley by Sly & the Family Stone from a Texas Pop Festival that happened only a couple of weeks post Woodstock. The image & sound quality was very poor, but it still blew the room away...particularly how awesome the rest of the Family was. Especially vocalist & trumpeter Cynthia Robinson (hers is the voice screaming out "Everybody dance now!" at the beginning of "Dance to the Music". Dayum!
