Moved from the thread I started simultaneous with this one:

And it's mighty quiet here.

TOTHK was the Allmans, Dreams. Followed by Neil, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere. Third is Tony Joe White, singin' bout that wretched, spiteful, straight-razor totin' woman.

Definitely got a south-of-the-Mason-Dixon theme goin' on.
Let's get right to it.

I think you're correct, but I'm on a Guess Who kick lately so this gets BOS.

Saw them at the San Mateo County fair in August... not the same band, of course the bass and drummer are all that remain from the original.... they should be calling themselves "Guess Who We're Supposed To Be?"

south of mason-dixon, then north of the border.  (Two Canadian acts so far...)

And one from across the pond--Thunderclap Newman = Brits, no?

let's hope you balance that with some Anne Murray... ;)

That news clip with peace protesters singing is a potential Sally -- AL played that recently too. And now the Youngbloods.  This is sounding like one of Dave's by-the-numbers "It's Friday and I just wanna get outta here" '69 sets.

Listening but too busy answering email to post until now.

Kinda waiting for another bustout to join the ABB.  Technically not a bustout, but it is only in the Db once from 7 years ago, and Dave inexplicably put it in a 1971 set ("Dreams" is from their debut album).

Did their singer bear any resemblance to Burton Cummings, vocally?

VHM Badfinger, technically a 1970 hit (it charted in Feb '70). But I guess the movie (The Magic Christian) opened at Xmas of '69?
