At first I was afraid that she was going to do a dinosaur set...  :P

Dinosaur Jr, T-Rex, and, um...

There are indeed a lot of Live 105 faves here that KFOG was ignoring in '93, so props to AL for that, even if they're songs I don't esp like.

BOS for the Flaming Lips, before they took themselves so seriously (apparently).

oh man, so sorry I missed this.  Did you ever see them do this on SNL?  that's when they had that freak Donald on guitar and he went apes*** w the psychadelic noize on this one.

Saw them on the Soft Bulletin tour at Maritme Hall.  BOS
Never saw 'em, but they do have good videos.

Some serious international weirdness from Dead Can Dance, I think.

Beats me.  I've only heard them on RadioParadise.  I'm not fond of most of their stuff.

ETA: Google says this is "The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove".  Nobody knows why.

LOL @ "The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove."  Have not heard it, but it sounds like something that would be on one of Starbucks's Hear Music compilations before they started releasing a high proportion of garbage (i.e. Antigone Rising), so BOS2 to that.

And BOS3 to Tim Finn.

Good time for the stream to start cutting out though.   :P

To be honest, I've always liked "Creep".  It's amusing.

This has not been the most enjoyable set AL's done, for me -- I was listening to KFOG and Live 105 equally in '93 and I remember more fun stuff than this. I'll have to dig out my best-of-'93 mix tonite and see what else was shakin'.
