the pattern would indicate a '90s year is due today. Say it isn't so! 

In any case, AL completes her 2nd month as mistress of the time warp. And I think we alll agree she's succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.

Not too far...yep, you got it--it's 1996...and we're Driving Counting Blue Cars. Always kinda liked this one, but not BOS material--yet. Would love to hear some Wilco from their superlative Being There record.

I enjoyed this when it came out, especially the harmony in the chorus, but it's pretty solidly in Collective Soul territory now for me.  And that's not good.

I don't know if Gaz is listening today, but 1996 is when we each moved to SF and became friends that October, so I have lots of specific musical remembrances. 

Especially since I'd moved here from Taiwan, where obviously the musical variety was not very good.

I bet Annalisa plays a predominantly Live 105 centric set.

For '96 this would qualify. We've only been to '96 four times prior to today, and Counting Blue Cars has turned up twice.

We've also heard Beck twice, but both were Where It's At, not Devil's Haircut. Dodged a bullet there.

Seems the image is blocked (just a red x shows for me).

Vonnegut is somewhat depressing, especially S-5.  It certainly isn't a happy book.
