Oh. My. GAWD! BOS4 Bronski Beat!!!

BOS #4 here too, although not a bustout either.

How come this never got used in pride sets is beyond me.

Dave actually played this?  I've no recollection

OMFG2: FYC's Johnny gets BOS5.

Note how often AL starts out with a couple of overplayed "classics" and then overwhelms us with bustouts'n'rarities.  Impressive.

an old roommate used to say that Jimmy Somerville  looked like a penis.

all bald guys look like penises. that's the appeal of the shaved head/goatee look, esp among gay guys.

Was that Small Town Boy? Dave used it in a couple of '84 sets.
Let's get right to it.

HM, View to a Kill.

[Great photo, from Facebook]

Simon Le Bon, from the Fillmore last week

Nice photo -- yours, urth?

Nope, a friend who's a *huge* Durannie (is that phrase still in use?) shot it and posted it on her FB album.

Do you know, or could you inquire, what kind of camera she used, and how she got it in?

I love shooting concerts, but dread draconian "no photo/video policies" that are arbitrarily enforced.  (Little point-and-shoots are ok, but supposedly "professional" SLRs are not, even though there are small cameras that can shoot excellent photos, and an SLR does not automatically make you a pro photographer.  And of course camera phones continue to get better -- are they going to make people start bringing their iPhones back to their cars?)

Just wondering what the Fillmore's (or Duran Duran's) policy is these days.  Thanks.

Yeah, it was.  I had to look it up.  I never saw that -- sounds sad.

Yep, Cher and Eric Stoltz in one of his first big roles. That film launched both of their film careers, iirc.
Let's get right to it.

Indeed.  Tricky.  Makes me think she might be reading some of these boards.

actually, Silkwood was pre-Mask. But it was Stoltz's debut (after he got fired from Back to the Future and replaced by MJ Fox).

I never saw the movie either, but that clip filled me with parental guilt!
