HeyHey, We're the Monkees! theme.  Can every one do the Monkee Walk? (hint: you can't do it by yourself)

oh, the pain.

Don't Bring me Down -- great song...  the bass, the organ, the fuzzy guitar, the emotion.  yay, Animals!

of course, it's tempting to say ten-way tie for BOS in this year, but this one stands out for me.

Pushing Too Hard, the Seeds.  This song always makes me nervous.
Rainy Day Women, No. 12 & 35 Bob Dylan.   He sounds stoned...  :/

here's another BOS candidate: Knock On Wood by Eddie Floyd.

Kinks: Sunny Afternoon  -- I saw Ray Davies perform just once (so far), last year at the Warfield.  So glad he did this one.   (aside to urth: He also did 20th Century Man!  another fave...)

This is Rob's first visit to '66, iirc. Interesting that, with all the obsession with younger demos, both KFOG and now The Peak have done '66 this month.

they played a audio trailer clip from Anotonioni's Blow Up, which featured a snippet of the Yardbirds doing "Train Kept-a-Rollin' and then we get...

OMG, Yardbirds' Stroll On...!   another BOS!

if I were on my own PC and not a cow orker's, I'd bee searching the web for pics of Carnaby Street and Mary Quant. But my posting will be a bit curtailed while I'm without my usual bells-n-whistles.

This may not even be Carnaby Street, but it's a great pic:

Mary Quaint?

dunno if that's her (she was a designer & cosmetics mogul) or just a bunch of her models; that appears to be Twiggy on the right.
