Hello, I'm Sundaygal and I am addicted to Sriracha.  Yessiree, Bob.

Damn, that looks mighty fine!  I, too, love deviled eggs.

That's my idea, dammit!  But then, I put sriracha in pretty much everything.  On the other hand, I'm on a pretty heavy Tapatio kick right now.

I *knew* we'd discussed sriracha here before: I posted this link when it first appeared in the NYT in May of 2009...

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/20/dining/20united.html?_r=1

and that article has a link to a recipe for Sriracha mayonnaise!  TANC2!!

Sriracha is pretty great, except when sushi bars use it to make the spicy tuna spicy. Thus obscuring any chance of tasting of your next three pieces of sushi. I much prefer pepper-infused sesame oil.

I'm a big fan of Crystal hot sauce, and the Tabasco Chipotle pretty much rules, too.
Let's get right to it.

We discovered this sauce in Paso Robles, it's made in Gilroy.  It's yummy!

We had our department's "holiday lunch" today at Pican in Oakland (B'way & Grand) -- upscale "Southern cuisine". Yummy. Crawfish salad sandwiches, Fried Chicken, ribs, hush puppies, sweet potato fries. Good eatin'.

Tonite I had dinner at Pacific Cafe out on Geary -- my first time, despite the fact that it's been there since the '70s and I've been here since '91. Many have talked it up to me (including own own Geoff) and it was as advertised. Heavenly crabcakes. Yum.

Well chosen--one of my fave dishes at one of my fave SF restaurants.  More crab than cake. Hope you had the clam chowder too--one of the best. If only the free wine while you wait were a little better.  But free is good.

If you like crab, try the crab louie next time. TONS of crab, and you don't have to crack or pick any of it.
Let's get right to it.

Glad you liked it.  We are so set in our ways, I'm not sure I've had their crab cakes, even after dozens of visits!
