I should change forums for this, but I'm too lazy: TRACKS magazine, which I held out a lot of hope for, has gone on hiatus, in search of more funding. A sad ending to one of the few music mags that wasn't celebrity-driven. It must have been that ugly cover of the toothsome but talented Lucinda Williams that did them in.

Indie, with a strong folk/alt country bent. It's a bimonthy, comes with a sampler CD and DVD if you subscribe.
VVHM "Last Resort". one of Mr Henley's shining moments, IMHO, and he's been dissed here a few times this week."Call someplace Paradise -- kiss it goodbye."More relevant than ever, methinks.

I wasn't paying attention to the lyrics, though. It sounded like it could have been bookended by "Roy Rogers" and "Harmony" on Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
