No bustout, but BOS2 anyway to Dire Straits' Angel of Mercy (and Proxy of Alicat, in case she's still unable to get the stream).
Let's get right to it.

Did BT ever do anything else worth hearing

'fraid not.  But hearing this always reminds me of the other, similarly 12-sting-infused "Too Late" by the Shoes, which only Rob has ever played, and of course the Records' "Starry Eyes", which Dave's never favored us with but which Annalisa has Bonused.

VHM for the Supertramp, being as it's Gone Hollywood, a relatively infrequent flyer compared to Goodbye Stranger and The Logical Song (and a better song, imo).

Actually I stand corrected: Per the DB, Gone Hollywood has appeared more often than both of those combined. Who'd a thunk?
Let's get right to it.

Dave gets jiggy with it: HM to Sisters Sledge.

I'll BOS the Police, for Message in a Bottle. One of the great singles of '79 and very distinctive back in the day. Now we've all heard it far more than we need to, but back then this was pretty fresh stuff.

I'da thunk it.  I love Supertramp but long ago tired of pretty much all of side one of BIA.  I do dig it when Dave plays "Just Another Nerovus Wreck" and wish he'd play "Lord Is It Mine?" or "Child Of Vision".

This was the first song of theirs where I realized Sting was actually a pretty talented lyricist, especially in the area of cleverly extended metaphor (cf. "Murder By Numbers", "Fortress Around Your Heart", etc.)

Thank God its "Friday"

It's one of Big Rick's favorites from his Friday Salute.  Cue the Toyes!
