25 Nov 2008: 1974!!

Tuned in early and at 9:45 KFOG is playing The Cure "Let's Go To Bed".  That's got to be quite the rarity for regular airtime.

OTOH, they played Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion" for the billionth time in the same hour.

Paris, Beirut, Iraq, Iran...just think how much different the world was in the early 70's when those places were all interesting international travel destinations.

Big BOS for me.  "Don't You Worry..." has added memories for me since we played it in the LSJUMB.  I was music librarian when it needed to be rewritten; dittos wear out, doncha know?  Anyway, Band songs are all given silly titles on the music, so I got to make up a few for this one, like "Donuts: You Worry About Eating (with beer)", a clever reference to the Band game day breakfast of beer and donuts.  Well, maybe you had to be there.

I've got the inverse: I have to work my ass off today, then I have tomorrow and Thursday off, then Friday I have a long but easy day.
