I wonder if Mr. Morey can be less Morey-ish than Bob was a couple hours ago.

Stevie Ray is a decent start.

Nice TOTHC, though.  BOS, SRV.

Some XTC would be nice too.

Is this SRV painting "Superstition" by numbers?

For some reason I'm in the mood to hear Billy Joel today.  Was "A Matter of Trust" 1986?  (Would have rather gone for something from An Innocent Man, but no such.)

I predict at least 2 repeaters.  But still no Jermaine Stewart.

Novelty points, if not quality points, to "All I Need Is Some Clearasil."

A little Gene Loves Jezebel ("Desire") is certainly not going to hurt, and just as certainly not going to be heard on the Drive.

So what's this playing after the Ronnie clip? The singer sounds slightly like Rufus Wainwright, but that's just nuts. He was about 6 in 1986.

Never mind. I see Mark already answered that question.

Dave's at least not relying on all of the usual suspects (so far). Still not betting agains Billy Ocean or Crowded House though.
Let's get right to it.

Is this a bustout? "Sur-prize, sur-prize, sur-prize!"  I have lobbied Dave in the past for "Motion of Love" in '87 but this will do.

Blue Velvet, one of the most overrated films of the last 25 years.
