Dang , not one but two looooong songs.  Extra Special BOS for ""Closer To Home"

ETA: MAJOR flashback for me.  In late fall of '79 I made a trip to Cincy to visit with two girls I had met the summer before when we were all AFS exchange students to Germany (THE seminal experience of my life).  Theresa's older sister went to Miami OH, and and Suzie's older sister's boyfriend did too, so we spent the weekend there.  The sister's boyfriend put me up at his frat, and I had my very first taste of college life.

At one point we wound up in someone's dorm room & the guy pulled out a Fender bass, cranked up this GFR track and played the bass line all the way through.  After that, all I could think about was escaping High School & getting to college.

when I learned to pick out the opening riff to "25 Or 6 To 4" on an acoustic guitar, I was ecstatic.  It's easier than "Smoke On The Water!"

Though, if I were to limit myself to 1 BOS, it would be 25 or 6 to 4, which just rocks so hard for a band that later turned into namby-pamby balladeers.
