I for one LOVE the occasional HFH set for precisely the reason you usually mention, namely that you need the bad to appreciate the good. But I also like HFH for the same reason we all look when we drive past a wreck, namely "How the heck could someone let THAT happen?" mixed with "Oooh, how bad IS it?".
