Sorry I missed "Dinah Flo" over there. But Boz could easily show up here.

From your keyboard to Dave's ear.
Let's get right to it.

They wandered in from the city of St. John.

So what's the verdict, Canada or Virgin Is.?

I always assumed he was talking about Puerto Rico.

D'oht!  I never until now made the San Juan/St. John connection.  Too literal-minded I guess.

Speaking of working together, was that Canned Heat?  I didn't know they went so deep into the 70s.
That wasn't the Canned Heat version, but can't ID who at the moment. Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?
See my first post in this thread.

Come to NYC sometime and you'll have your answer.  There are more Puerto Ricans in the Bronx than in Puerto Rico, I've heard.

I once saw a list of thing that NYC has more of, like

More Jews than Tel Aviv
More Irish than County Cork
More Blacks than Lagos, Nigeria
etc.

I must have missed that...but then again you missed Gaz's comment that I just quoted below your post.

Another near-bustout: Queen's Seaside Rendezvous. That one's been on the shelf even longer than the Ferry tune--Sept 23, 02.

BOS5 Zevon--get out the Waring Blender.

ETA: And a little Yacht Rock to finish off. Mr. McD keeps us runnin'.
