I don't have any sisters, but how many of you who do loved to watch yours dance?

ETA: after posting that I realized I certainly would if my sister looked like my avatar.

"see and touch amazing aquatic animals in their natural habitat!" sez Rosalie on the post-set promo. Coincidence?

Damn I thought the Doobs would be tune # 10.

Yet another near bustout to Silver, Wham Bam Shang a Lang. Brent Mydland's band, pre-GD. How he got from this to the Dead is beyond me.

Jinx ^ 3 for all that info

weren't Batdorf & Rodney or Gallagher & Lyle involved too?

Batdorf was.  Per Whitburn:

Jonh Batdodrf - v, g
Greg Collier - g
Brent Mydland - k
Tom Leadon - b
Harry Stinson - d

Isn't Tom Leadon in Mudcrutch, the Tom Petty pre-HBs band, that's currently being revived? And I know the name Harry Stinson from some place, too.

Is Tom Leadon related to Bernie Leadon, former Eagle?

I didn't know til I looked, but yes, they're brothers. Tom played in Petty's band the Epics in high school in Gainesville (and later they rejoined in Mudcrutch), while Bernie and Don Felder played in a band called The Maundy Quintet. Quite a prolific high school.

Holy crap: Thin Lizzy "Romeo & the Lonely Girl" is the bonus -- I don't think I have EVER heard this on the radio!

Poor Romeo/sittin' on his own-e-o  (listening to the radio eating toast and marma-lay-dee-o)

But the real question is: is it really from '76? :)

Ah, OK. Harry Stinson is now a Nashville session drummer, but he played in an early version of Steve Earle's band, the Dukes, and also played with Peter Frampton, which is where I think I saw him when I was in college.
